Heya! I’m Gabrielle, a born and bred Bahamian with a generous portion of Polish and a sprinkling of Jamaican mixed in. I recently moved back home after a few years in Connecticut and New York, and though I love the city it hasn’t exactly been hard seeing the sun shine bright every morning and never worrying about frostbitten toes (seriously I think one of mine is ruined forever). Life in The Bahamas is, you know, life. There are bills to pay and whoa traffic and I don’t know anyone with a pet dolphin. I love reading, writing, music and food (obv) and have had the most work-fun so far producing a documentary and an episode for a podcast. I’m so glad you found your way here!
You know how they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day? I like mine with a side of recipes. I can’t contain my enthusiasm in the kitchen, so this space is for me to share my adventures with you. My favourite foods are salad and chocolate, and though I’m def not a chocolatier, you can expect to see plenty of greens!

I wear all the hats for the content here unless otherwise noted, like this picture of me taken by the fabulous Elora Williams. If you like what you see and want to share, feel free to link up to one image with credit. If your intentions are for anything more than an enthusiastic “I found this here!” or “Check this out!”, please ask me for permission. You can shoot me an email at gabrielle[@]gabriellegweneth[.]com. If you otherwise just want to say hey, I’d love to hear from you and say hey back!
